Meet Lucy - she is now adopted

Lucy is spayed an up to date on shots, plus a microchip.  She is good with other dogs, and cats, is crate trained and house trained and very active.  Lucy’s new home must have a securely fenced yard.  She is eager to please, and we are working on improving her diet and letting her gain a little weight.  We don’t know her background as she was found running loose on the streets and nobody claimed her at the shelter.  Thus, she came into rescue.  She is a tail wagger extraordinaire, and loves being around people.  She would do best in a home with either human or dog companions and
being a very active dog will need lots of exercise - prefer home with friendly dog(s) to play with or an owner who is a runner or interested in dog sports.

We are going to start training her to use a dog door.  She comes in now, hasn’t figured out she can go out.  Gosh, she is the cutest most animated little girl.  She weighed in at 14.4 pounds last week.
Here is a movie of Lucy.

If you are interested in meeting Lucy, please email our rescue for an application to adopt her.   No toddlers please. She is not aggressive at all with kids, but as we all know, little ones can get too curious and grab.

Lucy's new guardian sent me a picture of her and her new friend Pico.
Heartwarming to see these dogs so happy together.
